Freedom and Safety

You walk in, and the air is cool and crisp. Everything is silent. The only sound you hear is your own footsteps padding down the carpeted aisles. The seats are empty. They look soft and inviting, but you don’t sit down. You walk down, front row and center, looking only at a bare stage. Only the house lights are on. You close your eyes for a moment to deeply inhale this enchanting atmosphere. Then, you make your way up to stand on the stage, down stage center. You look out at the empty house. There is only you. Within a moment, your arms are spread out and you spin in circles. You can do anything. You stop and smile as you catch your breath. Then you lie down, center stage. All you see are the stage lights staring down at you. They won’t shine, but they see you. You see them too. You smile at each other. The house lights dim and the spot is on you. The warmth of that light makes you feel like you’re floating. Your arms are again stretched out to your sides like you could fly. Here, in this place, anyone can be who they want. They can do anything. Now, there is only you. You have no memory of who you were before you were here. There is no thought of after. You are here in the middle of this magical world. You are lost in time. Untouchable. All is clear. The only reality is what you make. The possibilities are endless. Which one will you choose?

  1. Amber! I can't tell you how excited I am to see this - your words ... out there. Don't hold back.

I found you from my followers list - you weren't going to keep this a secret were you?

    Love, Carole
